Mr JB Bissett

James is the Director of ICT. He joined the department in September 2006 from Robert Gordon's College in Aberdeen. He is interested in outdoor pursuits, and likes to play keyboards and guitar.

Mr DM Turner

David teaches ICT throughout the school, and is also the School's Database administrator and Website manager. Outside the Department, he is the School Organist, and he is the Conductor of the Colinton and Merchiston Choir.

Mrs MB Watson

Mary is a part time teacher in the Mathematics & IT departments. After many years working in IT in various parts of the UK, Mary entered the teaching profession in 1997. As part of a PGCE course commencing in 1997 she completed her teacher training in Merchiston and has remained since.

Ms Fiona Miller

Fiona, like Mary, has a background of working in ICT in a variety of business environments. Also like Mary, she is a part time teacher of Maths as well. She was educated at Glasgow and Edinburgh universities.

Miss GA Cordiner

Miss Cordiner trained at Heriot Watt University, and was Director of ICT at Merchiston before she transferred to become the School's Marketing Director. She still assists with some of the IT teaching in the Department. Originally from Aberdeen, she has also taught in London.

Mr AC MacNeill

Alister is our full time IT technician, responsible for IT throughout the school. He presides over the ever-extending network to all parts of the school and boarding houses.
