Orienteering2008 sees the introduction of a permanent orienteering course in the school grounds which will be used for navigation/map reading training right across the school. There are a further two permanent orienteering courses within a 10 minute drive. It is anticipated that we will be offering structured map reading education through the navigation qualifications of the National Navigation Award Scheme. These skills link in directly with the expedition section of the DofE Award scheme.
