 A new fire-dancing troupe has been formed by former Merchistonian, Findlay Wilkins (96-03), involving using fire poi, fire staffs, fire juggling and fire breathing. Their group, Diabolus Concerco (Devil Twins) has now performed on a number of occasions, and they have set up a monthly meet in Cambridge, where people who have similar interests can practise and meet other performers under the close watch of Findlay, his colleague, Dax, and the Cambridge police and fire departments (who are located only 20 metres away!). Their most recent breakthrough was a 30-minute interview on BBC Radio Cambridge, which will no doubt help to promote their venture.
