 The 10th Anniversary Reunion Dinner for those who left the school in 1997 was held on Saturday 10th November at the School. The event was made all the more special by the attendance of peers from St George's School for Girls.
The evening kicked off with a champagne reception in the Old Library. The theme of the evening was 'Black and White', and it was very pleasing to see everyone arrive looking so glamorous. Members of staff who had worked with the '97 leavers were also invited to attend the drinks reception, and it was clear that seeing so many old students' faces was a trip down memory lane for them.
 From the Old Library, the party moved into the Dining Hall, where they indulged in a feast of cod and pancetta fishcakes, roast rump of lamb, and chocolate profiterole torte. Organiser Shane Corstorphine made a speech, pointing out how wonderful it was that so many people had made the effort to be there. Special applause was given for Satoshi Iizuka, who had travelled all the way from Japan especially for the reunion.
The evening was far from over with the conclusion of dinner, however. Some of the group visited the 6A Club, where they continued to catch up with members of staff, whilst others climbed aboard a bus, and continued to party the night away at Frederick Street's Po Na Na. It was an enormously enjoyable evening, and thanks go to Shane Corstorphine, Charlotte Dickson (of St George's) and Kirstine Hogg for making the event such a success.
