Merchistonians are still plying their trade in the big smoke. This photograph was taken after a London Scottish v Esher game on 1 March 2008. Playing were Graeme Smith and Scott Hadden for Scots, and Tom Yellowlees for Esher. Esher snuck the win but not before Scott Hadden, a fragile looking standoff had turned back rower Yellowlees over in the tackle – a great moment. As well as the three Merchistonians playing, watching were Ben Yellowlees, Marcus Welch & David Kilpatrick. |
