Hong Kong Dinner: 3 December 07

The Merchistonian Club hosted it's first Hong Kong Dinner for sometime last Monday, 3 rd December. The Hong Kong Football Club were the gracious hosts of the event and laid on a wonderful dinner at which a total of 8 Merchistonians from across the years managed to attend. A number of other Merchistonians were not able to attend on the date but sent their apologies.

The format of the evening was a simple drinks reception followed by dinner. It provided an opportunity for the members and their guests to meet each other before sitting down to a dinner, which featured haggis, a dish that some members had not had for some time.

The dinner was fine success and will be arranged in 2008. Many thanks to all who attended.
