Cup v Morrison's!

Tuesday 28th November

Today we played our third round cup tie, against Morrison's. We were drawn at home again, which meant we had the tremendous support of pupils, staff, and some Merchistonians.

The team put in a very strong performance and led throughout the game. Towards the end we fielded some of the younger boys and they enjoyed the opportunity to play at this level.

The score was 53-0 with 5 minutes to go, but Morrisons never gave up, and scored a last-minute try and conversion, to finish the game 53-7.

We now progress to the quarter final stage; we have drawn a home match against either Peebles HS or Royal HS. Details will be published on this site when available.
