He won the Ayrshire junior open two weeks ago and he won the East of Scotland junior Open this weekend beating the number one seed 6-2 6-1. In the summer holidays he will travel with Tennis Scotland to a number of ITF events where he will compete for junior world ranking points.

Last weekend saw one of our pupils reach the quarter finals of a Senior Mens Grand Prix Tennis tournament in Stirling, a great achievement for him, as he is still only 16. Stewart has now been selected to compete for the East of Scotland Senior County Team in the upcoming County Cup.

In April Stewart played in the East of Scotland senior Open and lost in semis to a full time pro. On his way to the final he beat the Scottish number 10 which was excellent considering Andy and Jamie Murray are the top 2 in Scotland!
