 It seems that nowadays we have special days for any and every occasion, from National lift-share day to European Park day, but one of the more important days which we celebrate at Merchiston is World Book Day. However, a day is not enough! Our world book day celebrations last a few days! Today, Thursday 1st March, however, is the 10th anniversary of World Book Day and lots of boys have visited the Spawforth Library to cash in their £1 vouchers. 'Bag a book' days at Merchiston are always a popular event, and the books have been flying off the shelves! An update on the books sold will follow!
