Despite the bitterly cold weather, 9 Schools arrived at Merchiston today to compete in the annual Under 11 and Under 13 Cross Country Relay Competition. The going was tough, but Ardvreck (who always perform well in this competition) swept the board by winning both races. In the Under 11 Fettes were second and Cargilfield third, with the Merchiston teams coming in 4th and 11th. In the Under 13 Merchiston came second and Fettes third. Our other team came 11th. In all 30 teams were competing, and both the boys and their supporting parents and teachers deserve praise
