Yesterday around 50 Merchiston boys visited Cargilfield Prep School at Barnton (www.cargilfield.com) to perform in a joint concert. The evening was a huge success, with various acts performing - from Cargilfield there were two solo singers, a harpist, pianist and a string group, while Merchiston's Close Harmony Group and Samba Band played, along with some soloists. The evening drew to a close with a joint choir performing - an excellent finale!
