The Place2Be

After discussions, Merchiston is now in a position to announce 'The Place2Be' as an offical Charity Partner.

Founded in 1994 The Place2Be is an innovative, growing charity that gives children in primary schools a place where they can express their feelings through talking, creative work and play.

The Place2Be delivers a range of services directly to children, parents and teachers in primary schools. In addition they offer training for volunteers, staff and adults working with children.

The Place2Be operate in 10 primary schools in Edinburgh, reaching 3000 children. As well as Merchiston fundraising for The Place2Be, our partnership will involve our staff and senior pupils being trained and becoming involved in their work.

We are excited to find ourselves entering into partnership with The Place2Be, a charity which makes a real difference in the lives of so many children across the UK.
