Fund raising latest

Today, at Pringle Assembly, we had a visit from Mrs Gillie Davidson, who founded 'Scottish Love in Action' eight years ago.  Scottish Love in Action was the chosen charity for the Pringle Sponsored Walk last year - selected by one of last year's III Formers, George.  The walk raised £5200 and Mrs Davidson told us all how delighted she was about this, and how it would pay for the education of two classes (60 children) for a whole year in the School in India - making an amazing difference in their lives.  More details of the project are available here http://www.sla-india.org

Rather than a cheque presentation, George and Rupert (pictured) handed over a briefcase containing all of the money - Mrs Davidson said it was a most exciting way of receiving the donation - very much like being in a James Bond film!
