Pipe Band news

On the evening of Wednesday 28th November a group of players from the Castle and Senior Bands went to the Royal Blind School to perform for the young people and their adult helpers at the Craigmillar Campus. We received a superb welcome and the audience  were extremely enthusiastic and appreciative of our music. It was a humbling experience for us to see how these young people appeared to be so happy with their 'lot', and  served to remind us how lucky we are to be part of the Merchiston Community. The evening had been arranged by Cathy James who not only works to ensure our food is of the best quality but also helps out at The Blind School.

The boys very much enjoyed the experience and would certainly look forward to playing again for such a  welcoming audience.
