Rugby Cup semi-final

The semi-final match of the Scottish Schools' Cup against Heriot's was played at Myreside on Wednesday 16th January.

The final score was: Merchiston - 27, Heriot's - 3

The team played well and the support from the whole School was outstanding. By half time, the score was 20-3 in Merchiston's favour. In the second half, a fantastic try by Sam Hughes was converted by Glenn Leslie (photo left) to bring Merchiston's tally to 27.

The final, between Watson's and Merchiston will be held on Friday 25th January at Murrayfield, kicking off at 1930hrs.
