This year's dinner took place on Tuesday 5th February. As this was an Anniversary event, in addition to the normal scholars and staff attending, former scholars who left over the last 10 years were invited, and we were pleased that several, representing most of those year groups, were able to attend. Also at the meal were 3 former History teachers: Squadron Leader John Dunlop (CR 1968-1992 ), Bill Donaldson (1955-73) and Nicholas Diver (1997-2000). The speaker, John O'Neill, was also a former Merchiston History teacher (1992-97 and 2000-2004): he is currently Senior Deputy Rector at the High School of Glasgow.
