Choral Society Concert

The 175th Anniversary Choral Society Concert took place on Sunday evening in the McEwan Hall.

We were joined by the choir of St George's School, who performed Fauré's Requiem with our tenors and basses.

Both choirs sang together for Parry's I was glad and the Merchiston Choral Society sang Haydn's 'Little Organ Mass'.

Over a third of the School sang in this performance, and the soloists included teachers Ruth Cohen and Peter Hall. The concert was very well received by a large audience.
