In a joint initiative with Kilgraston School, Merchiston is currently holding an art exhibition in the Glasgow Art Club.

On Thursday evening the exhibition was launched with 'A Private View', where a good number of Merchiston and Kilgraston parents, former pupils and guests gathered for a drinks reception. Boys and girls from the Schools provided the musical entertainment during the evening.

Artists featured in the exhibition include current pupils (Angus is pictured here with one of his paintings in the exhibition), and artists associated with the two schools.

From Merchiston, staff members Jason Cordingley and James Rainy Brown have pictures on display, as do Merchiston parents Peregrine Moncrieffe and Niall McWilliam.

The exhibition is open until 15 March, and is open to the public on Saturdays 10am - 6pm, or by appointment during the week (0141 248 5210)
