The annual whole school cross country race took place on Tuesday 17 March, and the winner, for the third consecutive year, was Fraser Scott (photo, centre) of the V Form. This should come as no surprise, as he has represented Scotland and Scottish Schools for events in the past few years, and has recently been selected for the Scottish Schools International Meeting between Scotland, England, Ireland & Wales at U17 level. This comes as a result of his recent victory in the Scottish Schools Cross Country race in Irvine Fraser has also recently come 3rd in the Scottish National Cross Country Championships U17, which he can compete in again next year, as he is a full year younger than many of the participants. He will also be representing the Scottish Team in an event just before World Cross Country Championships at Holyrood Park next month. Well done to Fraser, and indeed to Shea (right) who came second in the race against obviously tough competition, and Mark (left) who was third.
