On Thursday 9th March the author Katie Grant came to talk to the Third Form about her series of books The Blood Red Horse, Green Jasper and soon to be in 2007 the final book in the trilogy Silver Blaze. Her talk was very amusing, especially her story about her ancestor's head. She says her ancestor's history helps her write her historically set stories. 3b English found the talk very interesting because we are doing essays on The Blood Red Horse in lessons. After her talk there was a sale of her books that went like wildfire, and a signing session as well. She really enjoyed here tour of the school, especially meeting Georgina, the 7-foot-long boa constrictor. Thanks go to Mrs Williams for organising the visit and to K.M.Grant for coming.
