Some of the younger members of the Pipe Band performed recently to around 200 guests from 55 countries from all over the world at a reception in Edinburgh. The international guests were visiting Edinburgh with the international advertising agency network Worldwide Partners, Inc. The network was holding its 2009 annual World Meeting in Edinburgh. Guests came from all over the globe, from Trinidad to Thailand, Moscow to Melbourne and Baltimore to Brazil.
 The band was invited to play by one of our parents. Reports tell us the boys performed excellently and were then invited to explore the venue and view the exhibition of advertising on display.
The organisers have passed on their thanks to the boys and complimented them on their professional performance. The boys also earned a substantial donation to the Pipe Band fund.
