Basketball v Fettes

Hot on the heels of their victory in the first round of the cup last week, the Basketball team had a game at home against Fettes on Thursday. The team is very strong this year, and quickly took the lead, which they then held throughout the game. Although Fettes got back into the game, particularly in the last quarter, we still came out as winners with a final score of 69 - 41.

The Season so far

Once again, we are having a very successful beginning of the season. Training sections on Tuesdays and Thursdays have really got the team in better shape, and now we are playing basketball as a proper team sport. Under the supervision of our coach Abe Wood, we have improved Zone formation, and Man on Man formation for both offense and defense.

We have had three games so far, and three straight wins. We have dominated our opponents, with three big wins of more than 30 pts ahead each game. Now we are determined to go further in the Scottish Cup, and will try our hardest to satisfy our ambition of getting into final stages.
