On Wednesday we were visited by 200 children from local Primary Schools for our annual 'Science & Technology Days'. The pupils were wowed by their practical demonstration of colours in Physics, and the 'exploding jelly baby' and other experiments in Chemistry. All the classes were 'hands-on': they made a plastic keyring in Design, and in IT wrote up a magazine article on their day. In Biology they were introduced to the animals: snakes, giant snails, cockroaches and stick insects among others! Finally, in Electronics they made a musical instrument, sure to annoy all their teachers on the bus back to their school! Thursday was the turn of some of our Feeder Prep Schools to come and enjoy the Science and Technology activities.
