1st XV: Match 1 vs Stewart’s Melville Won 33-14
After a busy pre-season, the team had a superb start to the year against last season’s Cup winners. The Merchiston team dominated from the start scoring 5 tries in total (Benny 2, James, Hamish, Robbie) whilst playing sublime rugby at times. The team were, however, slightly disappointed at the end of the match as they know they can play much better. Man of the Match: Fraser B for an outstanding all-round display including superb leadership during difficult periods in the first half.
