(Each year boys in Pringle I, II and III Form enter the English Speaking Board Examinations. The English speaking Board was founded in 1953 to promote and assess effective, confident and constructive oral communication skills. The emphasis is very much on spoken English as a practical and enjoyable life skill, with focus at assessment on the candidate both as a speaker and an active listener sharing ideas and knowledge with others).

- Pupil selected to take part in the Lyceum Youth Theatre summer production of The Tempest.
- Pupil achieving grade 5 piano
- A group of boys participating in the Scottish Schools CCF Piping and Drumming Competition and Beating the Retreat at Holyrood.
- Pupils selected to play cricket for Scotland U14, U13 and U12, including Captain of Scotland U12 team.
- Pupil competing in British Cycling Championships. Currently holds 4 Scottish track records at U12.
- Gold Medal Winners at U10 Individual and U13 Team IAPS Cross Country Competition and Silver and Bronze Medal Winners for individuals at U13
- Bronze medal in Edinburgh Schools' U11 50m breaststroke
- Pringle's sponsored hill walk in the Pentland Hills last term raised £4000 for the Christian Charity Signpost International. Signpost are committed to supporting children and families at risk in both the UK and throughout some of the world's poorest communities, providing assistance without favour, and on the basis of need.
