House Activities

The number and variety of House activities is truly remarkable, and, as ever, I am indebted to the Housemasters, Tutors, Senior Prefects and Prefects for organising them.  Which ones would you like to go on?  Cinema trips, discos, ceilidhs, Reel Club, film nights, bowls, kayaking, trips to Murrayfield, and so many outdoor education opportunities, ranging from Sunday activities to the Abernethy leadership training for the Lower Sixth, to the J4 and J5 trip to Solwaybank, the Glenshee ski trip, ice skating, and Dundee pool trips.  It is also important to note that Pringle, in particular, and indeed the Middle School run boarding weekends over the course of the term so that pupils are fully aware of the inclusive nature of boarding.  Moreover, it is so noticeable that so many of our activities involve girls from our sister schools, namely Kilgraston, St George’s and St Margaret’s.
