IV Form Languages Evening

On Tuesday 6th December the Modern Languages Department held its annual Language Evening event. The whole evening is about using foreign languages in front of an audience, in a fun way. Each item is no more than 3 minutes long, and imagination and humour are all important.

There were no fewer than 16 entries on the programme: a French song, a fajitas cooking demonstration in Spanish, a Russian poem, the 10 top things about Germany, Frère Jacques as a rap, and a variety of sketches including 'I am a celebrity, get me out of China!', 'Come fly with me' in Spanish, 'La nativité', a food robbery sketch in German, 'Questions pour un champion', 'Five prejudices against Germany', 'Déjeuner du matin', 'Fat fighters in China', 'Working at McDonalds in France' and 'Changing rooms talk' which was a multilingual sketch. Very well done to all the boys who kept a packed Napier atrium very well entertained for an hour.
