Top of the bench

Yesterday we took 4 boys (Kirrill, Tom, Victor and Jamie) to the "Top of the Bench" school Chemistry competition at Heriot-Watt University. This is the regional section of a UK-wide competition and all the top Edinburgh state and independent schools (over 20) were there. The team won the final (on a tie-break) so proceed to the national finals in London next term. It is the fifth time in nine years that Merchiston have won this regional competition (and we have a cup!).
