Environmental Sustainability

The Merchiston community has adopted a set of Environmental Sustainability Guidelines. These include advice on reducing energy use, reducing landfill by recycling and avoiding unnecessary food waste in the dining hall. Staff and boys will be following these guidelines where possible. As well as ensuring the School is run in a sustainable way, many of the guidelines also make good financial sense for the School. The guidelines can be accessed here.
