READ donation

Book donation

A huge number of unwanted text books from the Mathematics, ICT, Chemistry and Physics Departments were donated to READ International today as part of their National Book Donation Day. The Sustainability Committee assisted by VI Form members of Koinonia collected the books, loaded them into Mr Heathcote's car and delivered them to the storage depot nearby. The books will be sorted, boxed and sent to Tanzania to be used in schools. This is the second donation of this kind this year. The Geography Department used the move to Mount Olympus as an excuse for a clear out and donated some unwanted books in September.
