On 26 November a representative from the local Post Office came along to Pringle to collect Christmas gift boxes to send out to Afghanistan. Over 60 boxes donated from Pringle will be sent out to the 1 Scots Company (from Dreghorn Barracks) based at Wishtan and the 3 Rifles (from Redford Barracks) based at Fort Jackson - within 2 kilometers of one another.
