Co-curricular activities

A key feature of Merchiston is the very wide range co-curricular activities on offer to boys of all ages. Some of these take place during weekday afternoons, others in evenings or at weekends.

Whilst the best known of these is rugby, there are numerous other options on offer, both sporting and non-sporting. Boys at Merchiston have the opportunity to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme, the CCF, as well as rowing, golf, squash, fives, football, cricket and athletics - to name a few.
