The Range
Few driving ranges rival the set-up at Kings Acre. The emphasis
is on presenting you with real-life golf situations rather than the
chance to thump ball after ball into the far distance.
Enter one of our 30 spacious covered bays and immediately you
can visualise the type of shots you face every time you play. Set
out like a regular course, it has:
- 18 holes
- Three real water hazards
- Large undulating target greens
- Greens surrounded by bunkers
- Accurate, laser-measured targets
It's specially designed to improve your golf game in a
refreshing and constructive way, and to have a real pay-off the
next time you tee up on the course.
The National Fitting Centre
A brilliant new facility has opened at Kings Acre - the Acushnet
National Fitting Centre, specialising exclusively in the
leading-edge Titleist products. This must-visit modern centre gives
you the chance to improve your game with the very best in custom
fitted clubs.
This is Acushnet's second centre in the UK, the other being at
Brampton Park in Cambridgeshire. Titleist is a hugely
popular brand, with their UK sales rising by over 35% in the past
five years.
The full fitting experience includes a 90-minute analysis of
your game from tee to green. Using state-of-the-art Track
Man technology, our fitting technician can tell you exactly
which set composition suits your physique and swing.
Among other techniques, the thorough process involves use of the
revolutionary interchangeable FittingWorks SureFit System that
allows the fitting technician to provide up to 420 different shaft
and head combinations to ensure the perfect fit for your needs.
At the new National Fitting Centre you not only get the chance
to choose from current Titleist products, you can also see the
latest developments that are about to hit the market.
