Football

The School produces one senior team and one U16 team and they play a number of fixtures throughout two terms, during activity time. As a growing sport at Merchiston, in recent years the team has reached the semi-finals of the Scottish Independent Schools' trophy. Boys from the squad have also been selected for regional trials.
