Merchiston Castle School is a beautiful neo-classical building situated within over 100 acres of stunning parkland, and yet it is also easily accessible by all major transport links being only 4 miles to the city centre and 15 minutes drive to the airport.

We have a variety of accommodation which is available to hire and lends itself to a multitude of different uses, from residential courses, rehearsal spaces, holiday camps and weddings. The combination of a ruined castle, beautiful grounds, elegant rooms and a swimming pool also makes Merchiston the ideal location for film and video shoots.

In addition, the opening of our new Sixth Form boarding house means we now have three star equivalent residential accommodation available for up to 150 guests in en-suite rooms.
