Open Day- Saturday 16 September
Join us at the Merchiston Junior & Senior Open Day on 16 September 2023. This is a great opportunity for prospective students and families to discover Merchiston, ask questions and take a closer look at the world-class education we provide.
Our Open Day will offer you the chance to tour the school, chat to our departmental Staff, meet our Academic Leadership Team and find out more about what Merchiston has to offer. Our Admission Team will be on hand to answer any additional questions and guide you through the admission process too. Please register your interest using the form on the right and further information on timings and structure will be forwarded in due course.
Doors open 9:45am. Event starts 10:00am.
Alongside our Merchiston Open Day, we will also be running an information event for the Forest at Merchiston. For more information on this event and to register your interest, please visit this page.

The boys in the V Form Classical Civilisation set have been enjoying their study of the Roman Military in the Imperial period. In order to aid their study, on Tuesday 1st October they travelled down to Hadrian’s Wall

Our Forest Nursery pupils visited our Design & Technology department in the Senior School this week. Under the watchful eyes of the Sixth Form boys and Mrs Chapman (Faculty Head of Technology & Expressive Arts), the pupils had the opportunity to help make some new wooden signs for the Forest. They also got to see a 3D printer as well as make some cool cardboard planes.
