Starting Your Merchiston Journey

We are delighted that you are applying for a place at Merchiston. This is the beginning of an exciting journey for your family, and our friendly Admissions Team will be on hand to guide you through every step of the process.

To have your child assessed for a place, you will first need to complete our online registration form. Families are welcome to register at any time, although many prefer to visit the School first to experience life at Merchiston.

Once your online registration has been submitted, please arrange payment of the non-refundable £120 registration fee and upload a copy of your child’s birth certificate. Please note that we are unable to reserve a place without payment of the fee, and places can only be confirmed once a formal offer has been made following assessment.

Each boy is encouraged to excel at whatever they choose.
