Last week the Middle/Seniors 4-player team played Glenalmond College at Craigielaw Golf Club.  This was the final round of the ISGA Scottish Region stroke play, hosted by the Merchiston Golf Academy and Merchiston won, qualifying us for the ISGA British Schools National Finals in the summer term.  A strong performance by all in very windy conditions on a tough links.  Well done to Ivan B, Ross S, Roland G and Jimmy Z. 

On Friday we hosted a Junior Golf Academy triangular tournament between Merchiston, Loretto and Edinburgh Academy.  The first one of its kind, made up of a 7-player team with the best 5 scores from 7 to count.  Proud to say that Merchiston Golf Academy came out on top for the second day running in a fiercely contested junior match competed over the Templar Course at Swanston.  The Junior Academy team was made up of Alan T, Harry M, Santiago H, Oscar M D C, Santiago L, Ollie S and Jack D. 

Lots of positives to reflect on and take forward into future matches.  Equally, an opportunity to reflect on our tournament stats to see where our games are at and where we can continue to drive improvements.
