As part of our A-Level Geography course, all Lower VI Geography students embarked on our second field trip to the windy shores of Leith. The purpose of this was to collect the data for our coursework investigation on the ‘Regeneration in Leith’. We left School bright and early at 8:30 am alongside Dr Bower, Mr Buchanan and Mr Hall; we took the number 10 bus to the foot of Leith Walk to begin our related but individual investigations. Everyone had an enjoyable morning collecting data from the public and surveying the area of Leith in a variety of ways before we met for a well-earned lunch at Ocean Terminal. The second half of the day was spent collecting more important data before finishing at 3:30 pm and everyone making their way back on the bus to school. We would like to thank all the staff for looking after us and taking time out of their schedules to ensure we all had such an exciting yet beneficial day.
