Three different age groups enjoyed fixtures this week before reaching a well-deserved Weekend Leave.

The U14 and U15 boys both travelled to Fettes on Tuesday and, despite reduced numbers due to flu, we put up a good performance against strong opposition. In the U15 fixture Todd gave us the lead after a well taken short corner in the early stages of the game. Fettes did work their way back into the game and deserved their 2-1 half-time lead and eventual 4-1 win. William was once again super in goals making a string of second half saves.

A young U14 team, including four Pringle boys, struggling against a very strong Fettes team who raced into a big lead. In the second half Harry got a fine goal and the second half finished 2-1. Unfortunately, we lost the first half 5-0!

On Wednesday the U13 boys travelled to Ardvreck for their first game of the year as well. Mr Raikes oversaw the boys drawing one each with the Ardvreck A team and then beating the Ardvreck B team in the second match. The goals were shared around and the boys will be looking to build upon this as they have more matches next week.

Next week we have many fixtures! The U14, U15 and U18 boys all travel to play Loretto while on Wednesday we face Cargilfield at U9, U11 and U13 level. Lots and lots of boys getting a chance to play! Hockey Club continues on Wednesday evenings 6.30-7.30pm for any boys interested.
