26th January, 2015
This year’s Burns Supper took place on Saturday evening, attended by over 180 parents and friends of the School. The Pipe Band opened proceedings with a stirring performance in the Memorial Hall, which included the ever-popular Highland Cathedral. In charge of proceedings in the Dining Hall was our Chaplain, Nick Blair, who introduced each stage of the evening. Guest speakers this year were Chris Gray (Immortal Memory), Rob Moffat (Toast to the Lassies) and Jenny Blythe (Reply on behalf of the Lassies). Before the evening came to a close, entertainment was provided by singer John and pipers Tom and Jamie. Many raffle prizes were generously donated by parents, and the proceeds from the evening will be divided between the charities Hearts and Balls, Place2Be, and Braidburn School.
We are most grateful to all who supported the evening in any way, and look forward to another memorable Burns Supper in 2016.
