Join us for a relaxed evening designed to give boys and their parents a real feel for Sixth Form life at Merchiston. Starting in Laidlaw, our Sixth Form boarding house, you’ll meet our Head, Huw Jones, Houseparents, members of staff and current pupils, with the opportunity to explore the spaces where boys live, study and spend time together.

After snacks and drinks together, boys can spend time with current pupils and experience some of the social and sporting side of life at Merchiston. Meanwhile, parents can talk informally with Huw and members of our team, ask questions and find out more about academics, boarding, university preparation, pastoral care and the wider Sixth Form experience. No formal presentations, just an opportunity to meet people, ask questions and experience Sixth Form at Merchiston for yourself.
