MACS Challenge
Are you ready to push your limits and embrace the thrill of the hills?
We are thrilled to invite all Merchistonians, parents and current Merchiston Castle School pupils (IV Form and above) to take part in the MACS (Merchiston Allermuir Caerketton Summit) Challenge on Friday 22nd May 2026 at 2:30pm .
This 7K test of grit and endurance will take you across two of the Pentlands’ iconic peaks: Allermuir and Caerketton. Whether you are a seasoned runner or simply hungry for a challenge, this is your chance to rise above and prove what you’re made of.
Special Reward:
Complete the route in under 40 minutes and earn a limited edition MACS t-shirt. A badge of honour reserved only for the swiftest summit conquerors.
