Shell Geographers at the river
5th June, 2014
The Geography Department travelled to the River Knaik, near Stirling, with the Shell geographers. The trip was designed to hone their data gathering techniques in preparation for gathering their own data over the holidays for their GCSE Controlled Assessment. The weather was very kind and depth, width and velocity data was gathered at sites down the river from the source in the hills south of Comrie, into the village of Braco.
