Merchiston-Castle-School-Golf Academy- No.1 Uk School

The last year has been a triumph for both of Merchiston’s specialist Golf and Tennis Academies.

Recent successes have resulted in Merchiston being ranked number one in Scotland and number two in the UK by the ISGA.  The Golf Academy at Merchiston is purposefully small to allow our pupils to benefit from a more tailored training programme and one on one support to improve their game. This allows the players to perform well consistently and have earned the title of number one UK Junior Golf School for the past five years in a row.

Merchiston remains at the forefront of schools golf in the UK. Currently, our Senior team are ranked No2 in the UK schools ranking lists (ISGA); our highest position to date and, our Junior team too, are ranked No2 in the UK. Our Junior team have been ranked No1 for the last 5 years. We’ve had National representative honours, boys competing in WAGR events and, through excellent results, showing they can compete on the world stage at various Junior events.
