We are currently operating a rolling admission policy. Simply contact our Admissions Team at theforest@merchiston.co.uk to register your son or daughter and secure their place. Early registration is recommended and a waitlist will come into operation once all places have been reserved.

The Forest Nursery will be open to boys and girls aged 3-5 and the Forest Junior School, which is also co-ed, will be open to children going in to primary 1-4(rolling through to P7) 

The Forest will operate for 3 terms per year. The standard hours will be 8.15am-3pm with a variety of wrap-around care options available including breakfast club and after school clubs. 

Sibling discounts will be available. Please email theforest@merchiston.co.uk for any further information. 

If your daughter joins us in the Nursery or Junior School, she could remain with us until Primary 7. We will then support her transition to the Senior School of your choice.
