Trip to ‘Blood Brothers’
9th February, 2016
On Monday evening, a group of around 30 boys went to The Playhouse to see the touring production of Willy Russell’s popular musical Blood Brothers. This story of a pair of twins separated at birth, who later become best friends without knowing they are related, is set in Liverpool between the 1960s and the 1980s. It’s a powerful story, effectively told, and contains some great songs, too. It was also very popular, with the theatre very well filled, and our boys joined in an enthusiastic standing ovation at the end.
The visit was part of the school Arts Programme, full details of which can be found here.
