WEEK 14 IN MERCHISTON JUNIORS

Juniors

Last week in Merchiston Juniors, the boys enjoyed an inspiring presentation from Olympic Silver Medallist, Lynsey Sharp. They took a trip to Edinburgh Castle for History and they competed the National Young Mathematicians’ Competition. The week ended with some Christmas shopping and Christmas decorations. Roll on next week!

Golf: Great opening round for MGA and @Merchi_CE pupil, Cameron. Currently sitting inside top 30 with a 71 in first round of @FaldoSeries Finals in UAE.Juniors enjoying hearing from Lynsey Sharp and asking questions about her athletics career.Boys will ask tricky questions! And also very probing and interesting questions! Have you ever stopped running when you should not have?First Form enjoyed a fantastic day at Edinburgh Castle as part of their History studies.

J4 and J5 gave us a little taste of what’s to come in their Wind in the Willows production next term! Looking forward to that already.First Form’s ‘Super Santa Claus’ song was a special treat tonight and opened the weeks to Christmas perfectly. Thank you boys!Folk group in action with Auld Lang Syne.
